What you should know
Welcome to CloneDVD mobile! You have chosen CloneDVD mobile to achieve impressive speed and image quality. Regardless of which copying software you use, you should know that the space available on a mobile storage device is much less than that on original DVD media. This is why CloneDVD mobile will compress your movie using a high-quality transcoding technology. As opposed to the compression of a DVD to single layer size, where the main task of the software is to exclude unnessecary content, CloneDVD mobile will completely rebuild the content. Converting in the highest possible quality requires CPU-power and time. An average movie on an average PC will take about one hour to transcode.
NOTE: CloneDVD mobile does not backup copy-protected DVDs! Many DVDs are Content Scrambling System (CSS) encoded, which is a copy-protection file system. If a DVD is CSS-encoded then the DVD reader will refuse to access the disc. Therefore CloneDVD mobile alone cannot read the files and make a copy.
Therefore we recommend running AnyDVD in the background while working with CloneDVD mobile.
Help
Every CloneDVD mobile dialogue window contains a “Help” Button which opens the Help Manual with one click. The program also contains context sensitive help, which is accessed in one of two possible ways:- Clicking the right mouse button on a feature you do not understand opens a small pop-up window to explain the purpose of the particular feature
- Clicking the left mouse button on the question mark in the upper right corner of each frame changes the mouse pointer into a question mark. Then you can click on the desired feature to open a small pop-up window which explains its purpose.

Please always send a log of the transcoding process along with your support request. At the very end of the transcoding process press "Save transcoder log" to save a log file of the transcoding process. Please attach this as a "log.txt" file to your support request and not a flat text in the ticket.
