CloneDVD mobile - Apple iPod Touch
HINT 1: The iPod Classic and the iPod Touch use different screen formats and video conversion settings. They both use the mp4 container format, but the contents of the files are incompatible to each other. iTunes doesn't convert from one iPod format to another. Please use the correct output profile for your device.
HINT 2: Define a (unique and simple) label name for your movie in CloneDVD mobile, otherwise iTunes may not display the movie file in its browser window.
Transferring the files from your hard disk to the iPod
First save the iPod file to your hard drive, then transfer it to your iPod with iTunes.- Select "Videos" in the iTunes Source list (the tree menu on the left)
- Choose File > Add File to Library (or press Ctrl+O)
- Select the movie file you created earlier and click Open. The video is copied into your iTunes library. In Windows XP, this is the following directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Desktop\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\Unknown Artist\Unknown Album - Connect your iPod to your computer using its USB 2.0 cable
- Drag-and-drop the movie from "Videos" onto the iPod icon in the Source list
For more informations on how to copy a video file to your iPod please consider your iTunes and iPod manual.
